New Video??

That's right, ladies and gentlemen. With the help of the UNT film department, there is now a video to go along with the audio of Waves. Very new experience for me, had a great time making it, and I believe we'll be doing another one soon!

The Times They are a Changin'!

So I had to say goodbye to my good friend and bandmate Robbie. He had to return home for a while, but he had a safe trip and we all miss him. To the friends of Robbie that I've met over the past few months, I hope you'll stick around! Here's a video of us with Robbie playing a song by one of my favorites, Tom Petty.

With that said, I'd like to introduce Mr. Forrest Perry! He'll be filling Robbie's Sri Lankan shoes, and what he doesn't know is that he'll be required to sport the same red mohawk. I'll get some video up soon of Forrest for you to all admire and/or judge harshly.

The Shop Album Rock! Thank you!

So I just uploaded a new song, Look at Us Go. My friend Chris over at The Shop will be putting the track into circulation, and had these kind words to say about it!

"Joshua Mather has always had a great ear for infectious, pop driven rock. With "Look at Us Go", he breaks it all down perfectly. This single has a good beat, and a chorus that will bury itself in your subconcious, all the while laying down lines like "I'm not afraid of my faith anymore." This shows self introspection, and is part of a story, something not found in music much anymore. Joshua Mather has grown in his reach and intent. I can't wait to hear an album!

Thanks, Chris! Be sure to listen!

The flash hurts my eyes...

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be uploading some pictures this week. Chad, Robbie and I went out to Denton (Wooo!!) on Saturday and finally snapped some band pictures. As you can see, not ALL the pictures were taken completely seriously... But it was a lot of fun.

So here they are, Chad (middle) my bassist and Robbie (top) my drummist! We were going for an Alvin and the Chipmunks feel here... If only Chad had glasses like Simon. Oh well...

Oh! Also look for some acoustic videos I'll be posting. I'm thinking one original and a cover. Check back soon! Talk to you on facebook or twitter or whatever you like to use!!
